How we score
Every pharmacy is scored out of 10 with the same formula. Nothing is hand-adjusted.
The formula
Five factors, weighted to add up to 100%. Each one is scored from 0 to full credit, then the total is scaled to 10.

Customer rating
Average star rating across the listed public review sources, scaled from 1★ (no credit) to 5★ (full credit).

Licensing & verification
Half for LegitScript certification, half for NABP accreditation, each checked against the certifier's public lookup.

Requires valid prescription
Full credit if the pharmacy requires a valid prescription for prescription-only medication.

Years in business
How long the company has been selling or dispensing medication, from its founding year. 20 or more years earns full credit, scaled down evenly to none for a brand-new company.

Review volume
Number of public reviews, on a log scale. 10,000+ reviews earns full credit, so a handful of glowing reviews can't outrank a long public history.

Delivery speed
Typical delivery time from the pharmacy's stated policy and reviews. 2 days or less earns full credit; 10+ days earns none.

How review summaries are made
We read recent public customer reviews for each pharmacy on the sources listed on its profile and summarize the themes that come up most often, as common praise and common complaints. "% positive" is the share of that source's ratings that are 4 or 5 stars.
Every pharmacy is summarized the same way, including any pharmacy we're affiliated with, and complaints are never removed. Ratings, review counts and verification status link to their original source, and each profile shows when its facts were last verified.
