About
About PharmacyReview
We summarize what real customers say about online pharmacies so you can compare them quickly.
Disclosure
PharmacyReview is operated by Secure Medical, Inc. Secure Medical also owns eDrugstore.com, which is one of the pharmacies compared on this site. This site is not independent of eDrugstore.com, and we don't describe it as independent anywhere.
We built it anyway because the comparison holds up: every pharmacy on this site is scored out of 10 by the same published formula, from the same kinds of evidence, and nothing is hand-adjusted. Where a competitor scores higher than eDrugstore on a factor, the page says so.
Review summaries are generated from public customer reviews using one identical prompt for every pharmacy, including eDrugstore's, and always include common complaints as well as common praise. Member reviews are moderated for content only — never for being negative, and never based on which pharmacy they concern.
If you think anything here is inaccurate, including anything about a competitor, email us and we will correct whatever we can't support.
How this site makes money
This site doesn't sell advertising, and no pharmacy can pay to be listed here, to rank higher, or to have a review removed. There is no sponsored placement anywhere on the site.
Secure Medical builds and runs this site because one of the pharmacies compared here is ours, and we think a comparison that discloses that is worth more than one that hides it. If a reader chooses eDrugstore.com after reading these pages, that's the return. If they choose a competitor because the numbers favour that competitor, the page did its job.
We count how many people click through to each pharmacy, in totals only, so we know which comparisons are useful. That counting doesn't affect any score.
How pharmacies are scored
Every pharmacy is scored out of 10 by the same formula, built from customer ratings, licensing and verification, whether a valid prescription is required, years in business, review volume and delivery speed. The weights are published, the arithmetic is shown for any pharmacy you pick, and nothing is adjusted by hand.
Where the reviews come from
Profile summaries are written from public customer reviews on the sources named on each profile, using one identical prompt for every pharmacy. They always include common complaints as well as common praise.
Member reviews are written by people with accounts here, who confirm the review describes their own experience and that they have no connection to any pharmacy on the site. Every one is read before it's published, and declined only for the reasons we publish — never for being negative, and never based on which pharmacy it concerns.
Not medical advice
Content on this site is for general information. It isn't a substitute for advice from your doctor or pharmacist. Only buy prescription medication from a licensed pharmacy that requires a valid prescription.
Corrections
If anything here is wrong — about any pharmacy, including the ones we don't own — tell us and we'll fix it. Email hello@pharmacyreview.com with what you dispute and where the correct information comes from. We correct anything we can't support, whoever raises it.
